... ghosts?

These are obviously bots that constantly visit my image and add them to the favourite list. It may even be just a single bot that creates users and adds the same image over and over again to the favourites. I visited a few profiles and almost all don't have deviations, but a big favourite gallery.

I searched the net with Google Image, but I couldn't find any suspicious use of this image. So my question is: What is the purpose of this bot? Who else experiences the same? This picture was once tagged "for adults only", presumably because of the title. Could that have awakened the interest to someone?

It's not something that worries me, it's just something I've been wondering about for a while. :)

I couldn't believe my eyes, when I visited my profile page and saw the huge amount of notifications. First of all: thank to the persons who have suggested and accepted my picture as a Daily Deviation "The Path by the Tree".

And of course thank you to all who have added the DD and other pictures to their favourites and commented them. I will answer you in the next days, so be patient.

And it was also a big surprise to tweeded.

I have already been given Core membership for 6 weeks twice, which honours me and makes me very happy. However, I have hardly used the benefits and since I assume that it also costs the donor something, I would like to ask you to support someone else who benefits it more than I do. My activity is very low, I mainly visit dA on regular base to see what you have been posting. Nevertheless, I am very grateful for the donations and feel far too guilty that I have not enjoyed the benefits of Core membership.

Finally I started adding my projects to my website (atm German only, sorry). Social media platforms or photo gallery platforms are not very adequate to present projects, they are great to show single images or maybe series, but projects, which normally consist of more than just the images, are hard to present on these platforms. A project has usually a concept and it contains a story with different facets which wants to be told. I wasn't able to tell these stories on the available platforms.

As I have been working on these conceptual projects for years and have been showing them from time on exhibitions but not online, I decided to make them available digitally.

So I have started taking the time to show them on my website, more will follow in the next weeks and months and I hope I will find time to translate the texts to English soon:
